Telling the Story

This weekend was a rough one, all be it we made it through. Father was really feeling puny. Had to take him to the ER for side effects complications from chemotherapy treatment. While there I realized just how fragile life can be sometimes during the darker times of breathing and just existing.Simply put, it is very scary.
A story from the pages of the Gospel of Mark comes to mind from this event.
Jesus setting a violent, self destructive man free from the powerful demons that possessed him. When the restored man begged to stay with Jesus as He traveled, The Lord told him, "Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you." and the man departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all who heard marveled.
We should never underestimate the power of what God has done for us and never be afraid to tell the story to others.
Oh that God would save a wretch like me. That is truly Love from above!
